Privacy Policy

Effective Date: October 11, 2026·Last Updated: October 11, 2026·Google API Compliance Verified

This policy discloses how Ignition Digital Marketing and our proprietary software utilities, including the Ignition SEO Companion, access, process, and protect your information, with specific adherence to Google's API User Data Policy.

[01]Introduction & Scope

Ignition Digital Marketing ("Ignition", "we", "us", or "our") operates the website https://ignitiondigitalmarketing.com and the Ignition SEO Companion application.

We provide conversion infrastructure, automated inbound workflows, and technical search performance auditing for local businesses. We respect your privacy and are committed to safeguarding data processed through our website and integrated companion tools.

[02]Information We Access via Google APIs

When you explicitly authorize the Ignition SEO Companion via Google OAuth 2.0, the application requests access to specific Google services strictly to provide search engine optimization, technical indexing diagnostics, and keyword performance intelligence:

1. Google Search Console API

.../auth/webmasters.readonly

Accesses verified domain properties, search analytics metrics (search queries, impressions, organic clicks, average ranking positions, and click-through rates). Used exclusively to identify ranking opportunities between positions 4.0 and 15.0 and diagnose technical crawling errors.

2. Google Analytics Data API

.../auth/analytics.readonly

Accesses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) reporting data, including landing page paths, session volumes, active user metrics, engagement rates, bounce rates, and key event completions. Used exclusively to correlate on-page user experience signals with organic search rankings.

3. Google Ads API (Keyword Planner)

.../auth/adwords

Accesses Google Ads Keyword Planner tools using your authorized Google Ads Customer ID and Developer Token. Used exclusively to retrieve historical monthly search volumes, high-intent keyword ideas, competition tiers, and estimated top-of-page cost-per-click (CPC) ranges.

4. Basic Google Profile Information

userinfo.email & userinfo.profile

Accesses your primary Google account email and name purely to authenticate your user session and display connected account identity in the companion dashboard.

[03]How We Use Google User Data

Data retrieved from Google APIs is processed strictly for the following purposes:

  • Displaying real-time search telemetry and low-hanging fruit ranking opportunities.
  • Auditing local Next.js website files against Google Search Central codified standards.
  • Estimating commercial search volume and advertising CPC benchmarks for local service queries.
  • Staging recommended on-page optimizations (Title links, Meta descriptions, BLUF headings).

Google API Limited Use Disclosure

Ignition SEO Companion's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

  • ●Zero Third-Party Sharing: We do not sell, rent, license, or trade Google user data to third parties, data brokers, advertising networks, or external vendors.
  • ●No Advertising Targeting: Google user data is never used to serve targeted advertisements or build consumer profiling databases.
  • ●No Generalized AI Model Training: Google user data is never used to train or fine-tune generalized artificial intelligence or machine learning models.
  • ●Human Access Restrictions: No human employees or contractors view raw Google API data unless required to resolve a technical error with your explicit consent, or as required by law.

[05]Data Storage, Security & Retention

OAuth access tokens, refresh tokens, and developer API credentials are stored securely in local, private, environment-restricted configuration files on your designated server or workstation.

Your Search Console queries, GA4 engagement metrics, and Google Ads keyword volumes are queried in real time via encrypted HTTPS connections. We do not warehouse or replicate your search telemetry in external public cloud databases. When you disconnect your Google Account, all local tokens and session caches are permanently removed.

[06]How to Revoke Google Account Access

You maintain complete control over your Google Account authorizations. You can view, manage, or revoke access granted to the Ignition SEO Companion at any time directly through Google's security portal:

Revoking permissions immediately terminates the application's ability to refresh tokens or query Google APIs on your behalf.

[07]Website Analytics & Cookies

When navigating our public website, standard anonymous telemetry (device type, browser version, pages visited) may be processed to measure web performance, Core Web Vitals, and conversion funnels. You can instruct your browser to refuse cookies at any time.
